Meta tips
- Stay on your line for shots inside the box; come off your line only for through balls when defenders are beaten.
- Manual rush (Triangle / Y) costs you for through balls — use it. Auto-positioning misses about 30% of 1v1s.
- Pre-position toward the near post on crosses; this beats the keeper-AI's default which over-commits to the centre.
- Watch the radar, not the ball: defender body angle tells you where the next shot is coming from a half-second sooner.
Build advice
- Prioritise GK Reflexes, Diving, and Positioning. Aerial Reach matters for crosses but is the third stat in importance.
- Height 188-194 cm gives the best balance of reach without sluggishness on low shots.
- Skill moves and Weak Foot are wasted points for a GK — don't add them.
- PlayStyles: Aerial, Quick Reflexes, and Footwork are the highest-impact picks.
